Westfalen Group at Analytica 2016: Gas quality accreditation

The Westfalen Group will be exhibiting at Analytica in Munich, hall A1, stand 309, from 10 to 13 May 2016, using the slogan Q² (quality squared). Westfalen will have two new products for the trade fair: the new, practical Alumini® Smart Box for the mobile use of gases on location and an even wider range of service specification accredited gases for use in all areas, setting standards for precision and high reliability.

The Westfalen Group specialty gas center in Hörstel produces high purity gases, standard gas mixtures and special mixtures of up to 20 components from an available selection of over 150, as per customer requirements. The center has been accredited in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2005 by the German accreditation body (DAkkS) once again, demonstrating a continuously high quality of products and processes since 2005. As part of the certification, the product portfolio of accredited gas mixtures and the range of concentrations available has increased.

The new Alumini® Smart Box successfully expands Westfalen's existing Alumini® mini-canisters range, ideally suited for mobile use. The Alumini® Smart Box holds the gas mixtures required for different areas of application in Alumini® 12, 70 or 200 gas bottles along with the required extraction equipment. It has lots of different functions, for example, foam cut-outs mean that bottles can be stood up safely during use, there is storage space for required transport papers and it has a pressure equalizing valve.
